Definition:
Arthritis is the inflammation of one or more joints. More than 50 million Americans
suffer from osteoarthritis and rheumatiod arthritis. Each of these
conditions can be successfully treated with natural substances.
Osteoarthritis involves deterioration of the cartilage that covers
the joints. This form of arthritis is usually caused by an injury
to a joint that doesn=t heal properly. Osteoarthritis rarely develops
before the age of 40, but it seems to affect almost everyone past
the age of 60 in varying degrees.
Symptoms:
It is characterized by pain, swelling, stiffness, deformity, and diminished
range of motion. It usually develops slowly often over a few years.
Holistic Treatment Plan:
Treatment for osteoarthritis consists of providing the body with
nutrients that promote the formation of cartilage, and to help reduce
the inflammation associated with this condition.
