Definition:
This condition refers to pain or heavy pressure in the chest. This usually
caused by insufficient supply of oxygen to the heart tissue. This
chest pain may be severe or mild and is usually associated with
physical exertion or excessive stress. It is caused by a temporary
inability of the coronary arteries to supply sufficient blood to
the heart muscle.
Symptoms:
Chest pain that is relieved by rest, if rest does not relieve the pain then
a more serious condition is likely occurring. This would be the
warning sign of a myocardial infarction or commonly known as a heart
attack, which requires immediate medical attention
